Rainforest Mask Opening Sale
Preview the 18th annual Rainforest Mask Exhibit with an exclusive opportunity to pre-purchase a piece for your collection! This popular exhibit and sale present entirely unique and handmade balsa wood masks by artists from the Borucan Indian tribe. You will find traditional masks from the heart of their cultural story as well as ecological masks inspired by the indigenous flora and fauna of their native Costa Rica. This vibrant display of hand-carved and painted balsa wood masks are on display and for sale in the Museum of Botany & the Arts from January 9 – 31, 2021.
The opening sale will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021, 10:00 a.m – 6:00 p.m. with these times to choose from:
10 am – 1 pm $50 members, $60 non-members
1 pm – 7 pm $25 members, $30 non-members
Note: for safety reasons, there is no food or beverage reception this year.
*As part of Selby Gardens Covid-19 safety precautions, entry is moderated to allow a maximum of 20 guests at a time into the museum.
