Portrait Painting on Fabric

Learn step-by-step methods to achieve realistic paintings in an intensive 3-day workshop.

Students will learn how to create an “Eye Trap,” Ashley’s recently painted portraits on fabrics. Students may choose to paint from a selected reference photo or bring their own, printed on 8″ x 8″ paper in both black and white and in color. Through a step-by-step process, students will learn new techniques, be challenged to see differently, use color, and master painting techniques to achieve realistic results.
