READ LOCAL AUTHOR EXPO: Featuring local authors

Tampa: For Immediate Release: Jayne Lisbeth will be featured as one of the authors at the READ LOCAL AUTHOR EXPO, December 11, 10-1pm, at the Jan Platt Regional Library, 3910 Manhattan Ave, Tampa. Jayne will be selling and signing her internationally published book, Writing In Wet Cement, at the Read Local Author Expo, along with thirteen other local authors. Two workshops will be offered as part of the program: 10:15-11: Social Strategy: Platforms and 11:15-noon: Online Presence for writers and Publishing timeline- Stay on Track and Don’t Miss a Beat. Both programs require registration at the Author Expo site. Read Local Author Expo is free and open to the public. Writing in Wet Cement is a memoir joining together the tapestry of life from the 60s era of sex, drugs and rock and roll through the hippie and feminist movements to the 70s and her current life in Tampa Bay. Her journey takes her from a privileged childhood in the fifties in Long Island to Vermont, Massachusetts and California. Writing in Wet Cement is her journey and escape from the “velvet trap” of a psychologically abusive marriage. Her memoir continues to resonate with readers and has received dozens of glowing reviews. Lisbeth has been published in non-fiction, journalism, poetry, and fiction from California to Tampa, Florida. She has received awards at the local level and has been published in local anthologies: Pages Of My Life, volumes I and II; Phoenix Anthology: Editions I-III. Jayne’s second book, Raising the Dead, is a work of fiction which will be available in 2022.
