Grand Reopening + 2 Opening Receptions at Tempus Projects
Join us to celebrate Tempus Projects’ official Grand Reopening at the Ybor City Kress building on Thursday, January 26 at 7:00 to 9:00pm! Members are invited to a special MEMBERS’ HOUR starting at 6:00pm. (Want in? BECOME A MEMBER today!)
This event will be the opening reception for our two upcoming exhibitions: Jewels and Binoculars Hang from the Head of the Mule—a group exhibition including Kendra Frorup, Coulter Fussell, Michael Jones, and Michi Meko—and What Does the Cowboy Dream About?—a solo exhibition by Takeo Faison. And, if you haven’t seen it yet, Ghost Orchid: Fever Dream, a video installation by Cristina Molina, will be on view in Tempus Volta.
This is a celebration, so we’ll have all-vinyl sets by DJ Gabe Echazabal and DJ Mr. Mes with a special performance by Kay Three. Plus, Pure Kitchen Tampa is catering the refreshments!
Jewels and Binoculars Hang from the Head of the Mule is up through March 23rd and What Does the Cowboy Dream About? is up through March 2nd. View the exhibitions during gallery hours, Wednesdays & Thursdays 11am-6pm, Fridays 11am-2pm, and by appointment (text 813-340-9056).
Tempus Projects is located at 1624 E. 7th Ave in Ybor City, Tampa, FL.
