TCB presents Reflections

In response to the Covid19 Pandemic, Tampa City Ballet has had to think outside the box to keep dance alive while continuing to bring performance art to the community.

The answer was the Dancers on Camera series.  Each episode in the series was filmed out in the streets of beautiful Tampa Bay and the surrounding areas.
In this piece we explore an integrative approach bringing dance, film and architecture together, presenting dance as art installations with the City of Tampa and the City of St. Petersburg as our backdrop bringing the vibrancy of life back to our empty streets and public spaces.
At its essence, Reflections is a piece about belonging, about the struggle to feel like one belongs in this life and the journey of searching within and without.
