Victorian Horror Troupe Phantasmagoria explodes onto multiple stages around Central Florida this fall with the newest entry in their long-running Halloween mainstage series, and will return to Tampa Theatre’s historic stage as part of “A Nightmare on Franklin Street” on Sunday, Oct. 23!
Journey with this critically acclaimed troupe as they bring to life eight haunting works of terror from Edgar Allan Poe through evocative storytelling, phantastical dance, puppetry, big-screen projections, original music and MUCH more!
From the haunted stirrings of “The Raven” to the sheer terror of “The Tell-Tale Heart,” and from the grim tolling of “The Bells” to the bittersweet grieving of “Anabelle Lee” along with a selection of other whimsical, macabre, and terrifying stories and poems, you are invited to celebrate the Father of Gothic Literature with an evening of Poe’s works like you’ve never seen them before.
