711 N. Franklin Street, Tampa, FL 33602

Turning Point of Tampa (TPOT) is a family-owned addiction and eating disorder treatment center that has been serving the Tampa community for 35 years, helping individuals find recovery.

TPOT has hosted many events over the years, and one of most successful has been Comedy Intervention. Comedy Intervention IX is an afternoon to celebrate recovery through laughter, you got to have fun in recovery!

Who better to laugh about recovery with than someone like John Lehr, the original Geico Caveman, who speaks openly about his sobriety? Also making us laugh that evening will be Alonzo Bodden, a regular panel member on NPR’s Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me! and winner of Season 3’s Last Comic Standing, who has been making audiences around the country laugh for more than 20 years.

Guiding us through the afternoon is TPOT’s CEO/Clinical Director Robin Piper and longtime employee (29 years) Joan Browne, Director of Professional Relations and the producer of The Point is Recovery Podcast.

Tickets are $10.00 at the Box Office, and $12.00 (with fees) online.
