We are seeking applicants for the Emerging Artists Program at the 54th Annual Raymond James Gasparilla Festival of the Arts.
Fifteen artists will be selected to receive a free tent at the festival to be held on March 2 and 3, 2024 in Downtown Tampa and $375 to reimburse the cost of building out their booth. Artists also receive mentoring from established artists and arts administrators.
GFA defines “Emerging” as one who does not have an established record as a professional artist showing their work in museums, art centers, major galleries or major juried art exhibitions. In addition, applicants must not make more than 25% of their total annual income from the sale of their artwork and must not be employed professionally as a visual artist working in the medium they intend to present at the festival.
