Six friends embark on a coming-of-age road trip as their final time together after college graduation.
The story examines the highs and lows of life on the road, and the ambitions and secrets that only close proximity can reveal.
This modern musical with a powerfully energetic script and score created by a local artist is not to be missed!

Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm, Sundays at 2 pm

Sun. May 9th – Thu. May 13th
Must be available for all tech week rehearsals and all performances.

No experience is necessary. All roles are open. This is a non-paid opportunity.
Headshots and resumes are encouraged but not required.

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS/ROLES
Director Gabe Flores seeks a diverse cast of singers and dancers. The show calls for three male and three female actors with a wide vocal range as all characters have solos throughout the show.
We are also seeking 4-6 dancers with experience in contemporary, lyrical, and/or modern styles to interact with the singing actors. Dancers are encouraged, but not required to sing in the show.
All ethnicities are encouraged to audition.
CHARACTERS:
All characters are aged in their early to mid 20’s.
DAISY, a recent creative writing college graduate who is on the road trip to see the details in life before becoming an adult. Daisy is the narrator of the story and takes notes of everything as they go. She eventually finds love in an unexpected place.
HADLEY, the loud and charismatic de facto leader of the group. He is the architect of the road trip and carries a secret for his tenacity for being on the road.
CHARLIE, has a hard time letting go of an ex-girlfriend and uses the trip as an opportunity to move on from the past, assuming he doesn’t make an awful mistake in the process.
FRANKIE, a sweet girl who has had a secret love for Hadley all through college and decides that this road trip is her last chance to tell him how she feels.
MICAH, a bubbly dancer who is the voice of reason on the trip. This character also plays a character named “Alyssa” in a scene of the show.
COLE, a young man who has always lived under the shadow of his parents and decides to go on the road trip for the first time making a choice for himself. His parents want him to be a doctor or lawyer and the trip serves as a chance for him to find a life for himself.

WHAT TO PREPARE:
Please prepare two (2) songs for your audition. Please have music cued on a device we can plug into a system.
#1 – A one minute excerpt from a song of your choice that best demonstrates your abilities.
#2 – An excerpt from a song of your choice from the following list:
Guys:
“Waving Through a Window” from Dear Evan Hansen (2:27 to 3:37)
“Goodbye” from Catch Me If You Can (2:16 to end)

Ladies:
“Fly, Fly Away” from Catch Me If You Can (2:40 to 4:00)
“Superboy and the Invisible Girl” from Next to Normal (1:23 to end)
“Stars and the Moon” from Songs for a New World (0:00 to 1:18)
Information about dance auditions will be sent to you upon receipt of your completed online audition form.
Video Submissions
