I am a military wife going on 20 years now and mother to our two amazing girls! We have lived in over 8 different states in the U.S and just recently had the opportunity to live in Kathmandu, Nepal for a year and a half prior to moving to Florida. The best part about being an illustrator is taking our experiences and adventures and seeing them come to life on the page.
After receiving my BFA in Illustration at Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design, I took an interest in the storytelling aspect of art. Taking an idea and giving it life through line and composition is a truly rewarding experience. It is always exciting to see just how the right combination of line, color and composition can give meaning to a simple phrase…a simple quote…a lasting memory.
