Adriane Pirro

A graduate of the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale, my career began as a Graphic Artist back when you actually had to “cut and paste.” I then segued into Decorative Painting; creating artwork on everything from walls to furniture, and even ostrich eggs! I’ve displayed my art in galleries throughout South Florida.

I realized my true passion lies in writing and illustrating children’s books and teaching. Since 1995 I’ve been teaching drawing and painting to children. In 1999 I began teaching swimming again; something I did while a teenager. It is so rewarding to show someone how to do something and they end up loving it!

Joy, laughter and hope are the key to my art and what I hope to inspire with all my students. I like to capture what is good and positive in the world despite what may be a reality. That is why I create.
