Samantha Churchill

Samantha Churchill earned her Sculptural B.F.A. at Maine College of Art in 2003 and enjoyed a study abroad program in Cortona, Italy. She now resides in the Tampa Bay area of Florida.

She began her professional art career in early 2007. She happened upon a contact that provided scrapped electrical conduit wire from a condo high-rise construction site in downtown Tampa. Since that time she has been creating recycled, sustainable aluminum wire sculptures that are free-standing, wall climbing, and that also suspend from the ceiling. She also includes copper wire, animal skulls and bones, and other recycled elements into her work.

She has exhibited throughout the Tampa Bay area, Milan, Miami, New York, San Diego, and Ft. Myers.
