Princess Smith is a Tampa native that has become one of the most notable artists to watch in Tampa. The last four years, in particular, have brought her increasing recognition including an award as Emerging Artist of the Year in 2013 and inclusion in the Hillsborough County Public Art Collection with a permanent painting installation in the new Seminole Heights Library and a commission specifically for the new Saunders Library. Cass Contemporary Gallery owners Jake and Cassie Greatens sought Princess out for their REVEAL exhibition after seeing her work online.
