Susan Gott has worked in glass for over 30 years and focuses in cast glass to create one-of-a-kind sculptures incorporating glass, steel and stone. Susan was raised in Tennessee and Virginia and relocated to Florida as an adult. Susan earned a Bachelor’s at Radford University in Virginia and studied glass at Pilchuck Glass School, Haystack, Arrowmont and Penland Schools. After earning a Master of Fine Arts degree in glass from Kent State University, Susan returned to Florida to establish Phoenix Glass Studio in Tampa.
She is the recipient of numerous grants and awards, including an American Craft Council Award of Excellence, Florida Individual Artist Fellowship, the Arts Council of Hillsborough County’s Individual Artist Grant and New Forms Florida. Susan
