Relax in the shade as you enjoy entertainment on Center Stage. Find inspiration in nature’s beauty with Tampa Regional Artists’ Plein air painting activity. Meet a new furry friend with the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.
Visitor safety is a top priority at this outdoor event, and all guests will be asked to social distance as they picnic. Seating will be spaced 6 ft. apart and hand sanitizer will be available in the park.

Picnic in the Park is a perfect opportunity to lull in a haven of rest and contentment on the banks of the Hillsborough River. Bring your own picnic basket, chairs, blankets and coolers and enjoy the day. A limited number of family picnic tables are available for rental.
Step back in time and encounter what life was like at the former Tampa Bay Hotel by exploring the Henry B. Plant Museum. Admission is limited to 25 people per hour; masks and temperature checks required prior to entry.
