Online Monologue Intensive Class for Adults

Mondays and Wednesdays – 7 pm
Ages 18 and up

This four week online group class is for adult amateur actors interested in learning how to master a monologue.
Participants will receive guidance in choosing a monologue for the class, followed by instruction and direction in a group atmosphere focusing on vocal and physical technique, character and text analysis, movement and more.
Participants will select and work on a 3 to 5 minute contemporary dramatic or comedic monologue.
All sessions will be conducted via Zoom, which requires a laptop or desktop computer with a webcam, microphone, and a high-speed internet connection. There is no cost to use Zoom.
Instructor: Marc S. Sanders. Marc S. Sanders has been an active member of Carrollwood Players since 1993. He has participated in over 30 productions with the theatre from performing on stage, to directing, producing, stage managing and playwriting.
Accepted participants will receive instructions on how to complete payment.
Please complete the online application, which includes a short essay question.
Participants will be selected by the instructor based on their short essay response.
Participants are expected to attend all sessions and complete outside work between sessions.
