Jeff Rupert Quartet: Celebrating Stan Getz

One great saxophonist celebrates another when Jeff Rupert pays tribute to Stan Getz, at the Mainstage Theatre, HCC/Ybor City on Sunday, May 1 at 3:00 pm, presented by the Tampa Jazz Club. Getz, with a warm lyrical sound and fascinating musical ideas, was a jazz icon for four decades in several different styles. Jeff Rupert, longtime Director of Jazz Studies at UCF, brings together the major jazz artists from Orlando in his terrific quartet.
