First performed around 1596, Shakespeare’s comic fantasy, about a group of humans who find themselves bewitched by fairies, is a sly reckoning with love, jealousy and marriage. For centuries, it’s been one of Shakespeare’s most beloved plays.
Discover what happens when Greek lovers and amateur actors get lost in a forest inhabited by naughty, magical creatures.
Enter an enchanting fantasy world as we transform our intimate Black Box Theatre as never seen before. This whimsical full production will delight all ages!

PRODUCTION DATES:

Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm, Sundays at 2 pm
Tech Week:
July 5th – 8th, 2021
Must be available for all tech week rehearsals and all performances.
PLEASE LIST ALL POTENTIAL DATE SCHEDULE CONFLICTS ON THE ONLINE AUDITION FORM. Please take care to complete this section in full. Casting decisions and rehearsal schedules are based in part on this information.
Rehearsals:
There will be up to 20 rehearsals for this production, plus tech week and performances.
The exact rehearsal schedule is to be determined, but rehearsals are usually 2-3 weekday nights per week, from approximately 7 pm until 9:30 pm.
There is the possibility of some rehearsals on Saturday mornings or Sunday evenings.
The rehearsal schedule intensifies as opening night draws closer.
Tech week rehearsals often run later into the evening.
No experience necessary. All roles are unpaid. All roles are available.
What to Prepare:
Please prepare a Shakespearean sonnet of your choice (does not need to be memorized).
This is a full Black Box production with memorized lines (not a staged reading.)
