Audition Notice for Legal Gringa by Angela Page at Powerstories Theatre
Currently holding auditions for LEGAL GRINGA by Angela Page to be produced this summer in the Voices of Women Theatre Festival at Powerstories Theatre. LEGAL GRINGA is a compelling new play inspired by true stories that deal with complex and contemporary social issues. We are casting for the following five roles:
MARTA MORALES – Young bilingual woman (16-18)
RACHEL ROSENBERG – A widowed lawyer (50-55)
WAYNE TOMPKINS – an ultra-conservative man (40-45)
BETH TOMPKINS – Wayne’s mother & former Southern Belle (70-75)
JORDAN EVANS – an African American young man (17-18)
To audition, please email angela_page@live.com to receive sides and then submit a self-tape audition. Final auditions will be held via Zoom. Powerstories Theatre is a non-equity theatre; actors will receive some compensation. This production will be held on July 22, 2022, as part of the Voices of Truth Theatre Festival at Powerstories Theatre in Tampa, FL.
