Mayor Jane Castor and community members will once again gather for a Celebration of Freedom at this year’s, 4th Annual Juneteenth Flag Raising Ceremony and Festival, on Friday, June 16, 2023.
We are inviting local businesses and non-profit organizations to showcase their goods and services as part of this year’s festival, which begins after the flag raising ceremony.
Please read the following information in its entirety if you are interested in applying for a vendor space.
The Flag Raising Ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. at Old City Hall located at 315 E. Kennedy Boulevard.
The festival will follow from noon – 2 p.m. at Lykes Gaslight Park located at 241 E. Madison St. , directly across from Old City Hall.
The Community Engagement and Partnerships Department is seeking vendors for the following categories at this year’s celebration:
- Teen Entrepreneurs
- Food Trucks
- Historical/Cultural Non-Profit Organization
- Goods/Products
- Artist
- Food Vendors “Non-Food Truck”
Vendors will be selected based on application category on a first come, first served basis due to limited space.

All applicants will need to comply with the City’s special events requirements.
