Papos’ distinctive and considerable musical talent has garnered him an appreciative and growing following both among fellow musicians and listening audiences of traditional Irish songs that he loves, or his own story-songs, delivered with a fluid guitar style and an engaging voice that draws listeners in with its honesty and strength.
Papos again picked up a guitar after 35 years to learn to live and play and again find a degree of happiness in self-expression through music. As the organizer of the highly popular and successful “Tampa Friday Night Open Mic” Papos’ passion in support of local musicians is clear. In Papos’ words “I am truly humbled by the musicians I meet and thankful for new friendships I have made at this point in my life.”
