Jean-René Rinvil is an award-winning video producer, director and editor with a master’s level degree in television, film and new media from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC). He has over 12 years of professional experience developing several forms of media for a variety of industries (i.e., Broadcasting, Non-Profit, Online Publication and Universities). His commitment to creating films that interest a worldwide audience. It is evident in his current project “Moving Beyond Stigma” Mental Disorder.
His accolades include; Best documentary at the Haiti Movie Award (MPAH) 2014 – The Greater Washington Immigration Film Festival 2015 – The spirit award from the Reel Sisters of the Diaspora Film Festival 2008 – Best documentary from the Urban Mediamakers Film Festival 2006.
