Eunmi Ko

Praised as exceedingly interesting and original, a recitalist, guest artist, and chamber musician, pianist Eunmi Ko has been featured in many venues throughout North America, Asia, and Oceania. Recently, she has played in Weill Hall at Carnegie Hall, Chautauqua Music Festival, Rebecca Penneys Piano Festival, Festival Cervantino Internacional in Mexico, Music Center of Christchurch in New Zealand, and Soon-Cheon National University in Korea. Ko is particularly interested in new music and lesser-known repertoire. Her recent recital at Carnegie Hall presented a New York premiere of She rose, and let me in: Scottish Variation and Fugue by John Liberatore, a recent work by Esa-Pekka Salonen and a piano cycle by Josef Suk. Ko recently appeared as a guest artist at the University of Michigan, Eastern Michigan University, Hobart and William Smith Colleges, Lynn University, Rochester Institute of Technology, Spectrum NYC, Union College, Women in Music Festival, CUNY in NYC, St. Petersburg College.
