BFA degree in painting from St. Cloud State University, St. Cloud Minnesota. Moved to Florida in 1980. Started making mixed-media handmade paper artwork in 1982. Started casting handmade paper wall sculptures in 1992. My paper casting technic was featured on HGTV’s “That’s Clever”. I also make handmade tiles for mosaics which I call Paintings in Clay. I am co-owner along with my husband Ira Burhans of Clay and Paper Gallery of Art in Dunedin, Florida.
