“Real Women Have Curves”

After a nearly two-year intermission, Powerstories Theatre is returning to live theatre with Josefina López’s “Real Women Have Curves,” a play set in a small sewing factory in East Los Angeles. It covers issues of gender politics and the Latina immigrant experience through a week in the lives of five Latina characters.
Directed by Linda Edmundo, the play features Alejandra Sepúlveda Colón as Ana, Michelle Crowder-Soellner as Estela, Lillian Almodovar as Carmen, Lupita Hahn as Pancha, and Natalia Cruz De Dios as Rosali!
Production is Thursday through Saturday at 8 pm and Sunday 2 pm matinee.
